Who is Girl, Reworked?
That girl is you!
And me.
She is all of us, morphed into one.

When forty-something hit me in the face, I realized that so much of what I was doing, wearing, saying, feeling, eating, believing, reading, watching, showing, experiencing, and thinking were no longer honest representations of the girl I had become.
I felt like I had been cast in some TV show gone syndicate, the same scenario repeating itself over and over, day after day. I was caught in a dreadful loop. I wanted to recast myself in something new, more relevant to my current reality. I needed to jump out of the box I was living in; it just didn’t fit anymore. (No, I didn’t leave my husband or head to the ashram for a one-year sabbatical–that would be way too intense for me.)
Rather, I began a subtle reworking of my life with the realization that if it doesn’t fit anymore, whether it be a relationship or a dress, that I don’t have to wear it ever again. Not ever.
Chances are, it’s time for you to rework your life too, because we are not all that different from each other. Whether you are thirty-something, forty-something, or sixty-something; married or single; a mother or not; whether you are gay or straight; filthy rich or just making the rent; you are in a stage of life that begs change, hormonal and otherwise.
Your style. Your home. Your relationships. Your work. Your body. Your health. Your self-perception. Your money. Your time. Your choice. Your voice.
Who do you want to be in this world? What do you want to do while you’re here? Who do you want to do it with? And what will you be wearing while you’re doing whatever it is that you’ll be doing?
Girl, Reworked is your place to come for ideas and inspiration, tips and advice, exploration and conversation.
Girl, Reworked is the voice of us.
Welcome.
